Three months old

When did this happen? When did my little girl turn three months old? While I feel she has always been a part of my life, it is still crazy to watch her grow. She giggles and coos and kicks so much now.

I am surprised she is not mad in this photo. Normally baby girl is not a huge fan of tummy time.

Anyway this past Saturday Jessica, Tasha and I and our neighbors went up to Lawrence, KS for The Color Run. It was an absolute blast. I must say I am not in shape at all and did not train for this event. However, it is NOT timed and more about fun than going all out in running. If you have never heard of a color run, it is a 5k run where at each kilometer there is a station where they throw color on you. When I first heard of a color run I assumed it would be paint ball style throwing color at people. So not the case thank goodness. They have spray bottles filled with a dyed cornstarch mix and it sticks to you.  Tasha and I stuck together and even rolled in the powder on the ground at the pink station. Hey all the cool kids were doing it! At the end of the run they a big color festivel.  Everyone gathers in a huge group and every 15 minutes everyone throws up color! It was just such a blast.

In the end we got pelted with tons and tons of yellow! Tasha especially!

All running should be this fun. I would be in way better shape!

Besties in full out color!

On Sunday I had the day off so we could attend a class for Emmalyn's Baptism, so hopefully I will be getting all that in the works very soon. Monday Tom had off and we had a really nice day just enjoying time together as a family. Yesterday ( Tuesday) I went to this little baby boutique in Wichita for their signing time. Tom and I are working on learning baby sign language. It is said to work really well and help parents and infants communicate faster and with less complications before verbalization begins. So we are giving it a try! Can't hurt thats for sure.

I have also been in full craft mode the last few days as well. I made my sister Kylie's gift and I really hope she loves it. I think it is amazing! Also I can not believe she is almost 13 years old. She was only a little older than Emmalyn when we moved to Kansas and now she is growing up. Crazy!

Well I should probably get some sleep. Tom is snoring loud next to me. I'll just give him a few jabbs and try and fall asleep! ( I'm not mean at all). Hope to put up more pictures of Emy soon. Keep following, I will try and post more often. Alot of EXCITING things are in the Womack-Beeson Family's future!
